Dental Implants: Teeth That Look and Feel Like Your Own

Dental implants are so natural-looking and feeling, you may forget you ever lost a tooth. Maybe your dentures don't feel secure. Perhaps you have difficulty chewing. If you are missing one or more teeth and would like to smile, speak and eat again with comfort and confidence, then we can help. Under proper conditions, such as placement by a periodontist and diligent oral hygiene, implants can last a lifetime.

What are dental implants?

Dental implants are small titanium fixtures which are placed in the upper or lower jawbone. They replace the root of your missing tooth and provide an anchor for your crowns, bridges, or dentures. They have a natural appearance, and normal chewing and speech are maintained.

What Is Treatment Like?

This procedure is a team effort between you, your dentist and our office. They will consult with you to determine where and how your implant should be placed.

The entire procedure is relatively painless and is performed in our office. Implants need 4-5 months of healing while the implant integrates with the bone. Then your dentist constructs the crown or bridgework that is attached to the top of the implant.
